Garam Masala


A special blend of 8 different spices - turmeric, coriander, yellow mustard seed, black pepper, fenugreek, fennel seed, cumin, kalonji (onion seed) - in unequal proportions, roasted in the traditional Indo-Guyanese style and ground to an aromatic powder. Used in combination with curry powder to make various curries such as: potato curry, chicken curry, fish curry, goat curry.
